Arriving & Vacating

Where possible, we will allow you to arrive and depart our holiday home Dommu Asuletta when it best suits you but in busy peak holiday periods eg. August, we will have to set some time limits.

Arriving at the house for your Sardinian holiday

If other guests are vacating the house on the day of your arrival, the house will not be ready until 4pm. This allows the cleaner enough time to clean thoroughly before your arrival.

If you have young children, arrangements can be made for you to leave your bags in the ground floor room until the cleaner is finished.

Vacating the house on departure day

We ask all guests to depart by 11am on the day of their departure.

Please check before your stay whether we have guests either arriving or departing on the same day as you. If we don't, arrangements can be made to keep your bags at the house until you are ready to leave and catch a flight.

Ensure you leave enough time to get to the airport – assuming you fly to Sardinia. Consider it takes approximately one hour to travel to Alghero-Fertilia airport by car and about two hours for Cagliari-Elmas or Olbia-Costa Smeralda assuming the traffic is reasonable (allow longer for a bus trip). And don’t forget to leave some extra time if you rent a hire car to allow for its inspection and to finalise any paperwork.
